First, search for the items you want to buy.
To find items in our database, you can either enter some keywords, 'wholemeal
flour' for example, or select a product category from the drop down list. You
can also use keywords in conjunction with a category if you like.
Once you have entered some information on the
form, click the search button and the system will produce a list of matching
products. Each product has a 'quantity' box for you to specify the number of
items you want and an 'Order' button. Clicking this order button or the 'add
items' button at the foot of the list will add all your selected items to your
shopping cart.
When you have finished shopping, just click
the 'Shopping Cart' icon on the menu at the left of the screen to review your
order and go to the checkout to pay for your goods. The cart will be displayed
in a new browser window to allow you to review your order without losing your
place in the store.
Minimum Order Value
The minimum order value excluding carriage is
£10.00. Contact us by E - mail or phone if you have a query.
Payment by Credit or Debit
Card
Payment can be made using Mastercard, Visa,
Visa Delta or Maestro. Please fill in all card details to avoid unnecessary
delay. (including your signature for postal or faxed requests).
Cheque / Postal Order
Cheques / Postal Orders should be crossed and
made payable to "The Flourbin" (Please allow 10 days to process cheques)
Carriage
Flour is a high density, comparatively low
cost product which unfortunately means that it is not cheap to move about.
Having said that, many people have told us that the product justifies the cost
and it is cheaper in both time and fuel than having to come to Chesterfield for
it. Even so, we sincerely apologise for what might seem to be high charges, but
we would emphasise that we only pass on a direct cost.
Our transport is provided by Parcelforce, whom
you are probably aware no longer provide a universal service at one price
throughout the United Kingdom. For that reason, we are only able to supply
mainland addresses in England, Wales, and the lowlands of Scotland at the price
stated below. We are happy to supply to the remainder of the U.K., but it will
be necessary for you to contact us, either directly on 01246 850124 or by Email
at info@flourbin.com , in order that we may quote a delivery charge. The
computer will not accept internet orders with post codes that fall outside
these mainland areas.
It would be appreciated if we could have any
delivery instructions such as 'leave in the garden shed' with the order. It is
not possible to specify a delivery time. An order can only be delivered twice.
If Parcelforce fail to complete a delivery on the first occasion, a card will
be left stating that they have tried to deliver and enclosing a phone number to
arrange a convenient time to redeliver. Should the delivery fail on the second
occasion, the parcel will be held at the local depot for collection. Should it
not be collected, it will be returned to us for which we will have to charge.
The value of the goods will be reimbursed less the cost of returning them to
us.
Carriage Charges
Our charge is £6.95 for any weight up to
and including 28 Kg. Should the weight of the order exceed 28 Kg., then a
further £6.95 will be charged for any excess up to and including a
combined total weight of 56 Kg., and so on.
Despatch
We generally turn orders around in less than 2
working days. They aim to deliver within 48 hours of despatch so any order
should be received within 5 working days.
Delivery
All deliveries are made between 08.00hrs and
18.00hrs, Monday to Friday, with parcels requiring a signature. If you supply
an alternative delivery address for credit card purchases please supply the
registered cardholders address too.
Returns
Because we are dealing in foodstuffs, we do
not accept returns except where goods have been damaged in transit (see below)
or in the very unlikely circumstances that they are unfit for consumption.
However, if you are not happy, then please talk to us. Phone numbers can be
found on the contact page.
Refunds
Goods which are unfit for consumption can be
returned for a full refund or exchange, if received back at the address below
within 14 days, with the original packaging, labelling and Flourbin receipt.
Please notify both us and the carriers at once if any goods appear to have have
been damaged in transit and please retain all packaging.

Prices
All prices on the site include VAT and are
correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to amend these
prices or withdraw items without prior notice. Should this affect your order
you will be notified at, or shortly after, the time you place your order.
All orders, postal pledges and despatch times are subject to availability of
the items ordered.

None of the customer details held in our files
are passed on to a third party.
Problems...
Sometimes the Shopping Cart won't display!
If you click the link and the shopping cart
window does not appear, there are 2 possible explanations: Firstly, you may
already have the cart window open with another window on top of it. Check the
Taskbar at the bottom of your screen for another copy of your web browser.
Click it to see if the shopping cart is lurking underneath other windows.
The Second possibility is that you have too
many windows open and there is not enough memory left on your machine to open
the new window for the shopping cart. Try closing some other applications and
then clicking the cart icon again.

Security...
This site uses the industry
standard encryption system SSL to ensure the security of sensitive data
transmitted across the Internet. SSL becomes active once you get to the
checkout and means that no unauthorised people can see your personal or credit
card information.
Cookies...
The online shopping function
uses a cookie to record a unique reference so that we can keep track of what
you order. It takes up about 90 bytes of space and is only accessible by us. If
your browser is set to reject cookies or if your network firewall won't allow
them you won't be able to shop! Cookies present no risk to your PC or the
information contained on it.
If you have tried to add an
item to your shopping cart but the shopping cart display says your cart is
empty, check to make sure that cookies are enabled on your system.
